PrestaCap is an online platform which uses an innovative approach to provide small businesses with access to credit in a faster and more convenient way than traditional banks – Requests for credit are matched with capital from international investors allowing PrestaCap to provide SMEs with loans in just three days.
SMEs are a key driver of growth in Europe, but the financial crisis created a gap in terms of their access to credit. As a result, the growth of many SMEs and the growth of the wider economy has been limited. In response, PrestaCap was created with the mission of revolutionising the way European SMEs access finance, thus unlocking the potential of SMEs and sustaining growth of the real economy.
PrestaCap is regulated for the purposes of protecting its users. PrestaCap is domiciled in the United Kingdom and operates at a European level, it is authorised and regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), as well as the responsible authorities in other European countries.
